Synopsis
In 2001, the editor, Marty Baron of the Boston Globe, which assigns a team of reporters to investigate the allegations against John Geoghan, an unfrocked priest accused of abusing more than 80 children. Led by editor Walter “Robby” Robinson, and reporters Michael Rezendes, Matt Carroll and Sacha Pfeiffer, interview victims and try to unseal sensitive documents. Journalists make it their mission to provide evidence of a cover-up of sexual abuse within the Roman Catholic Church.
